Affirmations of Faith

“The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters,…” Proverbs 18:4

I am who God says that I am in His Word. My faith, confidence, and hope are wrapped up in who and what the Bible says. On the back of my dad’s pastoral office door, he had a quote posted, “Believe it in your heart. Say it with your mouth. You have what you say.”

I am happy and rejoice because the Lord has given me another day. (Psalm 118:24)

I am loved by Jesus. (John 15:9)

I am safe in the hands of Jesus, and no one is greater than Him. (John 10:29)

I have peace which I can’t explain because of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

I am justified by Christ, and He alone is my judge. (Romans 8:30-31)

I am trusting my Great God to lift me up today. (Psalm 147:5 – 6a)

I am not perfect, but I am forgiven. (1 John 1:9)

I am beautifully made by God. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

I am special in the eyes of the Lord. (Psalm 17:8)

I am a winner because Christ is with me. (Romans 8:37)

I am a believer in the Promiser because He is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)

My hope is in Christ, and there is much to look forward to. (Ephesians 1:18-19)

I am God’s chosen and will fulfill His purpose in my life. (John 15:16)

I have nothing to fear, for God is on my side. (Romans 8:31)

I am saved and have a holy calling according to His will. (2 Timothy 1:9)

I have confidence to do my job because of my faith in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 3:11-13)

I am strong in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10)

Everything will work out for good because I’m God’s. (Romans 8:28)

I am above the circumstances because I am seated with Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:20-21)

I am not condemned because I am in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)

I am blessed because I follow His ways and delight in the Lord. (Psalm 1:1-2)

I am not finished yet and am pressing toward the prize set before me. (Philippians 3:14)

Positive affirmations of faith are freeing and help us to rise above the negativity all around us. Rather than being snared by our words (Proverbs 6:2), let us prove ourselves and speak God’s Word in power and in truth. (2 Corinthians 6:7)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the Word of God which brings me life. Forgive me when I allow negativity to control my thoughts. I choose to live by faith and claim what You say about me. May my life reflect You in all my actions and words. I love You! In Jesus’ name – Amen.
